RUZZEL'S JOURNAL

July 2017
July was a very productive month for me because I was able to experience working in a fast food chain as a crew member. It was tiring but fun! Since it was just a summer job I need to stop and concentrate on my studies. Even if I wanted to,  I can’t do both because of the conflict of time.

June 2017
This June our summer class ended. Need to face a new semester for this year. Before that I’m planning to apply a part time job so that I can support some of my miscellaneous. My course has many requirements and that means need to prepare money to comply in all of that. Hoping that I’ll be hired soon.

September 2016
This month, we celebrated our school's 16th Foundation Day. It was really fun! College of Engineering was the organizers of this year's foundation day so my upperclassmen were the one who were in charge in activities and programs. It was a week event program and all of the students were expected to participate in the said event. It showed in every student’s faces the fun and excitement brought by the programs. And by the cooperation of faculties, staffs and my fellow students, the event went very well. I also actively participated in some activities prepared by the organizers; one of those was the amazing mind race. It was a team contest composed of 4-5 members per group. There were different stations that we needed to accomplish and we should finish all those stations as fast as we could. The teams who had finished the stations in short period of time would be awarded as winners. Because of our teamwork, my team got the 3rd place. We were all happy because of prize and experience brought by the said activity. I'm looking forward to the next events and programs of the school this school year.

August 2016
It seems like my weekends are also school days. A lot of projects to do and a lot of topics to review. One of my projects is to do 75 pages of written report using engineering lettering and my professor gave us 4 weeks to do that. It's been 3 weeks since he gave that project to us and I did 70 pages, yehey! 5 to go! :D Examination week or I can say the week that all students don't want to hear because it gives them a terrible feeling every time they hear it, is this coming week and I'm pretty sure my nights are going to be no sleep nights because of studying but for me it's okay because everything needs hard work. Those no sleep nights are going to be all worth it.

July 2016
I guess this semester will be harder than last semester.Well, it's normal because as year level increases the subjects become harder. There are a lot of projects that I need to compile and quizzes to pass because the preliminary examination is scheduled this week. One of the examples of our project is a video presentation. This is a project that aims us to have a further knowledge and experience about the importance of reading. I'm the script writer. Also one of the characters and cameraman at the same time. We are just five in the group, so we need to divide the task equally. And because we did our task well, we submitted our project before the deadline. Our professor gave us merit for early submission. I started reviewing since last week so that I will have good grades this semester.

28th June, 2016
My first day is nearly approaching and I feel excitement, at the same time sadness and a little bit of nervousness. Excitement because I will meet my new classmates and I'll see again my friends. Sadness because the two sections in our course were divided randomly, so some of my classmates before won't be my classmates this semester- also some of my friends. I'm feeling nervous because of our new professors. I have no idea who will be our new professors, but I guess some of them will be strict. But despite of that nervousness, I'm still excited to meet them and to gain knowledge from them :)
