What We Do

  • Establish primary school libraries
  • Provide teacher training
  • Support families so their children are not forced to drop out of school

How We Do It

  • Partner with local education departments, rural communities and book publishers
  • Our professional Reading and Literacy Educators run training sessions
  • Provide scholarships to cover costs for a child's education, including school fees, uniform, school bag and school supplies.

Why We Do It

  • Education is a fundamental human right: Every child is entitled to it. (UNICEF)
  • Literacy is the foundation to an education; children must have access to age-appropriate children's books to improve their reading skill
  • Education empowers people to improve their own lives, support their families and break the cycle of poverty
